CWK defines social justice as an effort to protect the human dignity of every person; to guard against social inequities and the imbalance of power that deprive individuals of their fundamental human rights; and to provide every human being with equal access and opportunity to pursue happiness and success in life and vocation regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status. Social justice includes issues such as racism, poverty, homelessness, gender identity, sexual orientation, sexual exploitation, human trafficking, religious freedom, and more.
The company recently launched Defining US, a youth-voiced, social action series of documentaries distributed through media partners with corresponding educational resources delivered through a digital hub made available free of charge through education, corporate, and community partners. The nation’s largest school systems and experts from leading universities have joined the CWK Advisory Board as partners in this project.
