Movies that Move US are multimedia film events that use the power of documentary storytelling to drive awareness and action. Defining US facilitators create a classroom without walls for your group that unites families, schools, and local communities. Each three (3) hour movie experience includes:
A private screening of our documentary Defining US, Children at the Crossroads of Change- Direct engagement through a constructive, community conversation led by professional Defining US moderators.
- Creation of an individual and/or community action plan as our facilitators guide audiences through our Discover, Understand, and Solve (DUS) communication techniques and mutual-aid model. Before leaving your screening you will have the opportunity to find common ground, create shared goals, and develop coordinated next steps for positive action!
